Did Bradley play at Robertson Fieldhouse beyond 1982?

Throwing stuff out before moving and found this 2001 Athlon Sports College Basketball Preview.

"Toughest Place to Play: Robertson Memorial Fieldhouse, Bradley"

I'm confused why Athlon listed Robertson. Did Bradley temporarily play at Robertson around that time or use it as an alternative home site? Or did Athlon legitimately not know Bradley moved to Carver 19 years earlier? All the arenas they listed for other conferences were current.

They played a game vs Illinois Wesleyan there in like 1995 but never player there outside of scrimmages and exhibition games after the move to Carver Arena.

I would have to think it is some type of typo. A national publication, even if just giving lip-service to the MVC shouldn't screw up a home court that hasn't been used in 19 years.

Toughest place to play in 2001? Damn, you could probably make a case for at least 7 of them. I can't remember Wichita being very intimidating during the Smithson years, maybe they were. Drake and UNI didn't have much but the rest of the league had some serious home court advantages during that time. For that season, I would probably give the slight edge to SIU as toughest place to play.

Bradley brought in a helluva frosh class that year, headlined by future NBA all star Danny Granger and Joah Tucker (led Milwaukee to the S16). Then they fired Molinari and it fell apart.

Redbird Arena and the old SMS student center or whatever it was back in the day.

Dana didn't win in Peoria until year 8, but in his first year the 2 teams only met once, in Omaha. Carver was a house of horrors until Korver came along.

In Dana and the Jays breakout year of 97-98 when they finished 2nd, the Braves beat the Jays all 3 times, although Rodney Buford went down with an injury in the first half of the game in Omaha that year and DNP the balance of the game. In St. Louis, the Braves were the 7 seed and became the first play-in team to advance to the semis. And they remained the only one to do so until Valpo in 2020.
