Final episode of the season, where we put a cap on all things 2024-25 MVC Hoops. We break down all the postseason games, give our final thoughts on each teams 2024-25 season, and look ahead at the potential futures of all 12 teams. We also have a really good conversation around the “State of the Valley.” Fun show as always, check it out!

Paul Oren takes a shot at the MVCfans.com posters disparaging Valpo. Gotta love off-season college hoops.

He’s done this before. I think there are a couple of SIU fans that live rent free in his head lol

Surprised he can read the board with all the tears in his eyes from not seeing a Valpo banner in StL...

The fact you people get so butt sad at a singular comment on a podcast just shows how much time you have that could be spend going outside and touching grass

I love Oren spicing things up and taking shots at MVCFans posters like it's the WWF Attitude Era.

I have no problem with Oren taking some playful shots at this website/posters, etc., and overall he is a great resource for Valpo fans and, to an extent, the league.

I do think he (and the podcasts hosts, for that matter), are in a bit of denial about how deep in a hole Valpo is when it comes to resources, facilities, etc. Like when they were comparing what ISU did NIL-wise this offseason to Valpo's tepid NIL program ... the resources/corporate support in Bloomington-Normal vs. Valpo is not comparable, so it's not really a fair fight.

And in terms of the discussion of Valpo's meager fan support in St. Louis, not sure how relevant it is at this point to relitigate the history of the Horizon League's move away from teams hosting to a neutral site and whether Valpo's fan base is still salty about that. So sorry you don't get to play conference tournament games in your small home gym. Just say Valpo has sucked and St. Louis is pretty far away from Valparaiso - at least those are understandable factors.

It's the boring off-season and Oren is giving us Valley hoops junkies dumb stuff to talk about. That's all that is going on here.
